Lake Renovations and Remodels

The highest compliment a builder can receive is a customer referral. All of the projects you are about to review were a direct result of a customer asking us to design and build a second project for them, or their referral to a new client.

After building the client a Log Home, they asked us to renovate their cottage.

Renovations had already been done once to the original cottage, but the client wanted a second story added. They gained 3 bedrooms and another full bath on the second floor.

The main floor was also remodeled and a new bath was added. There is a great view of the lake from every room and the use of culture stone on the foundation adds a very nice finishing touch.

This particular client had watched as we constructed a wing with a portico and decks on his neighbors home.

His request was for us to start with a simple garage........

                         ..........................and transform it..........

..............into an upstairs apartment..........................

.....................and a private balcony.............

.............overlooking the lake.

This cottage had a deck that became unbearable in the heat of the day. They had watched us put a second story on their neighbors house....so we

................added a screened in porch overlooking the lake and allowed them the outdoor feeling while staying in the confort of the shade.

Incorporating a Timber Truss Portico onto a new wing was this clients way of having the Log Cabin Feel that he wanted, without starting from the ground up.

The addition of decks and stairs enhances the lake side of the cottage.

When we are approached by someone who loves the look and feel of a Log Home, but loves the location of their existing structure, we can create the the retreat that they have always dreamed of.
